Greg Weatherford, President

Greg Weatherford has been the president of Devo Consulting LLC since 1998. Prior to that, Mr Weatherford spent 11 years at United Airlines where he was responsible for GEMIS; a DB2 database application based on an IBM AS/400. The application was used to track the maintenance activities and costs on all pieces of ground equipment at airport locations worldwide.

Mr Weatherford was responsible for all aspects of the application: Enhancement Planning; Requirements Gathering; Testing; End User Training; and Management Reporting.

Mr Weatherford's responsibilities also included supervising the programmers executing the job control language (JCL) required to: compile the application updates received from vendors; execute the nightly backup routines; and moving modules from TEST to PRODUCTION.

Mr Weatherford began database programming in the late 1980's using DataEase (a DOS-based relational database). In 1992, Mr Weatherford started using Microsoft Access v1.0 and immediately used it to create an application (FUSION) used by the Customer Service Division of United Airlines to control a $4 billion annual budgeting process.
